My auger purchase August 13, 2026 was handled expertly. The team knew the product well. They accurately answered questions that I had not found answers online prior to purchase. They were courteous. All in all , an A+ for service in my book.

Right when i walked in lady asked "can i help you" but not in the nice way. Continued to ask after i said I don't know i just got here. Then she said i had to leave my bag at the door. "My bag" is my purse lol. If youre having a problem with stealing thats not my problem. I literally came there to buy a 2 gallon sprayer, not be harrassed and profiled when i walked in the door.

I placed an order online last night and came in this morning to pick it up. When I approached the register, I said "good morning" to the employee (her name was Karen)( actual Karen) and she didn't respond - she just looked at me like I didn't belong there. It was uncomfortable from the start. I explained that I was there to pick up my order. I understood it may not have been ready yet, and I was even willing to grab the items myself because I was in a hurry. While I was trying to explain that, she kept looking me up and down in a very dismissive way. The whole interaction felt judgmental and unprofessional. I've shopped at this location and others before and have always been treated respectfully, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Instead of dealing with the attitude, I ended up just paying full price for the items and leaving because I didn't want to continue the interaction. Customer service matters, and no one should feel uncomfortable simply trying to pick up an order.

I am disgusted with their storm policy. I purchased two generators before the impending ice storm. One for my family and one for my Mom who lives alone. She was uncomfortable using it. I assembled mine and used it just fine. I do not need two generators so I returned to the store to return the other unused generator AND I was told No. They told me there was a no return policy posted and it was printed on my receipt. They never informed me when I picked it up and this policy was not on the website when I paid for it. Of course when I purchased, my intent was not to return it. I checked their return policy which is 60 days and expected that since it was unused, still in box and a national brand store, I would be able to return it. Boy, did I get a surprise. Northern Tool, you profit on people during storms and this is NOT a fair thing to do to customers. Horrible customer service-you lost me as a customer today

We were heading home from a vacation when the trailer we were hauling had an axle break. We found the needed part online and called the store to ensure they had it in stock. From the person who took my call to the check out person, we had a great experience. Jacob helped answer a question while in the parking lot and Donna made the check out process a breeze. Having friendly and helpful store associates made our fully involved repair a little bit better. What a great location to shop!
